I find I prefer pectin-free jams because I can use less sugar and the flavor of the fruit comes through. And I like the softer texture.

Here is a great guide to making jam without pectin. http://www.nwedible.com/2012/08/how-to-make-pectin-free-jam.html

Happy jamming! Is it a little more liquidy than most jams or does the texture just work? Excited to try!Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04240523241155953520[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8996414747526275896.post-34210408765234122092026-05-31T23:58:59.036-07:002026-05-31T23:58:59.036-07:00The rule of thumb is to store your home canned goods in a cool dark place and eat them within a year or so.

I hope you enjoy canning. And this jam! I'll have to try it with pork. And with cheddar. I never would've thought of that, but I think cheddar goes with everything :) Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10320386999214591373[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8996414747526275896.post-28477259473010932132026-05-31T16:32:41.315-07:002026-05-31T16:32:41.315-07:00The Habanero/Nectarine jam went as very nice marinate with a grilled pork tenderloin. It is very important that you marinate at least several hours, over night the better. It was okay with chicken, but not my wife's favorite. You might also want to try it on toast with cheddar Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17071330073385801185[email protected]tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8996414747526275896.post-73380651521234134242026-05-31T00:01:39.949-07:002026-05-31T00:01:39.949-07:00Fantastic!
